The award-winning Wood-N-Tap is now hiring for restaurant managers in South Central CT The flagship concept of the award-winning Hartford Restaurant Group is poised for major growth and has opportunities for manager candidates looking to join a company that exhibits stability, creativity, and a positive work culture.
Manager candidates should:
Show a history of job stability in high volume, full-service settings.
Show a history of positive impact on sales growth and profitability Show passion and commitment to providing a truly great guest experience Be able to oversee and maintain a high-quality food and beverage program Be skilled in reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending the hiring of hourly employees.
Be able to display tact and strategic planning while directing work for employees including setting weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant Have a positive record of staff development and empowerment Create a fun, safe environment by following our core values and operational goals, and implementing contests by creating incentives for the team.
Be committed to coaching performance of employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
Have a knack for leading by example Be passionate about the development of all hourly employees, by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones.
