Instructional Assistant, Career & Transition Services

Purpose of Position:
This is a full-time 32 hour per week hourly (flexible) position.
The Instructional Assistant will report directly to the Job Developer and/or Director.
A great candidate must be enthusiastic and demonstrate a positive.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate professionalism while working at a variety of sites such as college campuses, individuals' employers and other community locations.

Responsibilities:
The following duties are assigned to this position.

Enthusiasm for working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other related disabilities.
Provide in-house academic, social and career skill building.
Provide individual centered career and life goals.
Ability to follow written protocols, yet have the ability and flexibility to think on your feet.
Must display positive and professional attitudes.
Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively with various interdisciplinary service providers.
Must show enthusiasm and excitement in supporting individuals' learning.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license and insured vehicle in order to transport individuals in the community.
Experience preferred but not necessary Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills required Must be willing to work as part of a team If you have limited experience, please still consider applying.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
