Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioner Role Scope:
oIn consultation with the physician(s) and care team members, Advanced Practitioners develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.

, referral to other health team members or specialists.
Advanced Practitioners provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.
oThe Advanced Practitioners are part of a multidisciplinary team that plans and delivers care of patients under the direction of the attending cardiac surgeons in collaboration with the cardiologists and consultants.

Inpatient, cardiac surgical services oSchedule:
Full-time salaried, rotating includes day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
oCompetitive compensation.
Also eligible for over standard pay rates.
