Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but not limited to:
1Representing clients in all phases of insurance defense litigation from inception to resolution.
2Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, reports, and other legal documents.
3Conducting and managing discovery, including taking and defending depositions.
4Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in alignment with their best interests.
5Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making legal arguments.
6Conducting legal research, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents.
7Collaborating with legal team members to develop defense strategies.
8Maintaining communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and legal advice.
9Ensuring compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following:
1Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2Admission to the state bar.
3Minimum of 2 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on insurance defense and civil litigation.
4Demonstrated experience in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing complex cases.
5Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
6Excellent oral and written communication skills.
7Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8Ability to work independently, manage large amounts of data, and multi-task.
9High degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas.
