Responsible for managing quoting and proposal staff that supports group sales offices for prospect and renewal activity or responsible for supervising sales support call center. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Supports activities associated with enhancements quoting engine systems, proposal materials and other projects and initiatives. Responsible for quoting and proposal staff and ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Ensures policy and procedure continuity. Identifies and implements best practices, including problem solving and improvement process, and training and development. Supports and tests ongoing enhancements of the quoting systems, proposal systems and Sales Support projects. Analyzes production activities and maintains records and monthly reports. Or if running a call center duties include: Manages call center and sales support workflow. Monitors call center statistics. Coordinates researching of product and processing issues. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Job Qualifications
Requires a BA/BS; 5 years of experience in the health insurance or related industry, including significant experience in at least one area such as Operations, Sales, Service, or Account Management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
