Responsible for assisting with the development and execution of data mining analyses to enhance reporting functionality and identify data relationships and patterns.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Programs and writes queries and reports.
Establishes knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
May be involved with new development of standardized reporting using the data warehouse, in addition to ad hoc reports. Requires a BS/BA degree; up to 2 years experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills preferred. Anthem, Inc. standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages preferred.

The majority of time will be spent programming. This job is focused on complex data mining analysis as compared to the Bus Info Developer job.
Business Infor Developer Consultant:
Requires a BS/BA degree; 4-5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in Anthem, Inc. standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required. The majority of time will be spent programming. This job is more focused on very complex data mining analysis, coordinating the activities of a project team, and developing complex strategic report applications as compared to the Bus Info Developer Sr job.
Business Info Developer Consultant Sr:
Requires a BS/BA degree; 6 years experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Expert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in Anthem, Inc. standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization. This job is focused on spending time thinking about programming and how it would be used to design solutions as compared to the Bus Info Developer Consultant job.
Experience programming in SQL is required.
